Hello, to the world!
This post marks the beginning of a long-term romance. Between you, our dear reader, and us. But who are we? And why should you read what we write? What new do we have to offer? And why do we write?
First thing first, we are six people (as of now) who are classmates at Hans Raj College, Delhi University. We are students of History, officially. But at a more personal level, we are students of Life. We sit in our classroom and study about various historians and what they have to say about things that were. And then we walk out and turn into condescending intellectuals who want to conquer the world with our ideas.
We blabber all day at the famous "LP" of our college, in the KFC across the road and sometimes on the Ridge. Trinisha Tarun from Ranchi, Jharkhand; Neha Chaudhary from Bulandshahar and Delhi; Pooja Das from Cuttack, Orissa and Delhi; Abhijeet Kumar from <village>, Bihar and Delhi; Shubham Garg from Gaya, Bihar and; Saarang Narayan from Delhi and Gurgaon.
We all meet everyday and talk all there is to talk about. Laugh, joke, cry and make fun of each other and in the midst of it all, sometimes talk some sense, too. It is to bring to you this minuscule sensibilities of ours that we decided to start a blog.
So why read us?
We try, in our own nascent ways, to offer you a new point of view about things. We try moving away from the "I" by take a critical and analytical stand on things that are usually taken for granted as justified and legitimate. And in the process, probably try and develop a new perspective of life. A new way of thinking.
We write with one particular idea in mind- to question whatever we see. To debate over it, to deliberate. Analyse, criticise and then build a better discourse. And thus, we believe in what Marx says:
You may disagree with us. You may think we are fools. I say, we are. We are fools in saying that you should agree to what we say and what wee see. But we believe it is the Fool who can, through their sarcasm, say many a true word in jest!
A warning, though. We are going to be blunt. As blunt as we can be. And we WILL hurt you. That's pretty much our agenda. Valliant and Bhagat Singh call it, "making the deaf hear". Prof. Justin Matthew calls it "Unsettling and Disturbing everybody". We call it, shaking off the hidden shackles! So feel free to bite at us and call us all the bad things in the world. But we implore you, 'Hurl arguments; not stones!'
Explicit, politically incorrect and non-mainstream, non-purist content ahead...

We write with one particular idea in mind- to question whatever we see. To debate over it, to deliberate. Analyse, criticise and then build a better discourse. And thus, we believe in what Marx says:
Our task is ruthless criticism of everything that exists, ruthless in the sense that the criticism will not shrink either from its own conclusions or from conflict with the powers that be.And in this, we try to offer newer interpretations to some old problems. We explore new alternatives to old ways and build a new awareness and consciousness about what we see. It is simply thus, an effort to make you see things like we do.
You may disagree with us. You may think we are fools. I say, we are. We are fools in saying that you should agree to what we say and what wee see. But we believe it is the Fool who can, through their sarcasm, say many a true word in jest!
